Hi, my name is Pamela Kay Smith. With eight years of experience as a mother tongue English teacher, a Bachelor in Science, a solid background in the health and fashion fields, I offer a wide range of experience and professionalism to my students.

My approach is fresh and personalized, taking into consideration the whole person, helping them to be the best that they can be and engaging them in the teaching/learning process.

Since I have been living and working in Chiavari, I have helped organize events to encourage the practicing of English such as the “English Happy Hour”, and I have organized summer English lessons for Wylab.

I have worked with many managers and employees of companies in this area (A-ESSE S.p.A, Fiorini S.R.L., Velamania S.R.L., Alliance Healthcare Italia Distribuzione S.p.A., and Artifex di Presta Sandro e Sergio & C. Snc).

I have taught university students who have gone on to accept positions at prestigious firms such as EY (Ernst & Young) and PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) and have assisted others gain entry to important world renown universities such as Cornell University (USA), the University of Glasgow (UK), and the University of Gastronomic Sciences (IT).

However, I am just as proud to have helped all kinds of people who have always wanted to learn English to function in situations characterized by cultural diversity, like traveling abroad.

Many types of professionals, ranging from doctors, dentists, lawyers, psychotherapists, architects, teachers, and nurses to writers, journalists, and musicians, have employed me to help them learn English or improve their English skills.

What can be more satisfying than being able to have a conversation with someone on a topic different from your expertise?

It is truly gratifying to connect with other individuals and communicate with them effectively.
